From an ancient history to a contemporary work
Located in the heart of the vineyard, at the entrance of Epernay, the capital of Champagne, Pierry is a typical Champagne village showing a real historical richness.
In 1956, a handful of winemakers, eager to enhance their grapes, created the Pierry cooperative. Since then, this adventure has continued on the Coteaux Sud d'Epernay.
Today, the three Champagne grape varieties Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are grown with care. They make it possible to produce authentic, rich and varied cuvées. Thanks to the know-how of a lively, defensive and relentless team, we respect the Champagne tradition and modern winemaking techniques.
Located on the Coteaux Sud d'Epernay and the Premier Cru de Pierry terroir, the plots offer a mosaic of excellence that is watched over day after day by winemakers loyal to Vincent d'Astrée.
Nothing is left to chance during the vegetative cycle, pruning, binding, disbudding or trellising: every foot is watched, every bay is monitored.

Sébastien Lapierre, joined Maison Vincent d'Astrée in 2002. He is now the Cellar Master.
In the freshness of the bicentennial cellars, Sébastien wants to obtain wines that express the minerality of the terroir.
It combines passion, patience and know-how to sublimate the characteristics of each plot.
He handles wines like a perfumer by delicate touch, he seeks perfection, the ideal balance to offer chiseled champagnes, pure, fresh and greedy.
